My experience in real estate began forty years ago when I bought my first house. While stationed in Pensacola, Florida with the Navy, I shared my first home, renting rooms to Navy buddies to cover the mortgage payment. That's when I fell in love with real estate. Since then, I have bought and sold dozens of properties while working full time.
After 25 years in the corporate world and 26 years in the Navy Reserves, I decided to become my own boss, and share my real estate experience with other folks. In 1996, I retired from the Navy Reserves and relocated to Orlando, Florida. I obtained my Florida Real Estate license, and just a year later, I acquired my broker's license.
In 2006, I discovered the beauty and opportunity of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I knew I wanted to join a friendly professional organization in the Tri-state area. Today, I am a licensed broker-associate in Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina, opening Mountain Place Realty to TN & NC, and I continue to enjoy bringing Central Floridians together with the Blue Ridge Mountains.
